Mixing Aileron & Rudder - 2007/05/03 19:00 Hello. I am new to the use of computer radios, so I have a lot to learn. As a sterter, when mixing aileron with rudder, what would you guys recommend as a starting point regarding just how much rudder to mix? I assume you might start with a low perentage, fly the plane to see how it handles, then add or subtarct rudder until you get the mix you want. I'm just not sure how much rudder to use as an initial setting.

Also, I'm trying to set up "flaperons" using a JR 7202 system. But I have heard from some people that flaperons make the plane unstable on final approach. They seem to attribute this instability to the change in the way the ailerons work when in flaperon mode. Does anyone have an opinion on the use of flaperons?

Thanks.
