Here is an Excel Spreadsheet that I put together that calculates the MAC for you. Just plug in the root and tip chord and it will spit out the MAC.

You still need to figure out the span wise location of the MAC. What I did was to take the MAC calculation from the spreadsheet and then find the point in the wing taper that matched that dimension. Once I marked it, I followed the directions provided in the figure to find the span wise location. Low and behold they were the same point.
